There are lots of ftp parts, l started with this way bk, then liked it and got more. If you have dlcs, just means can’t do some things with you, but you can help them out. And if they like it lots dlcs cheap at present

There are two free raids, a dungeon and other stuff. Lots of content and some great exotics are locked behind DLC's though.

If he wants more the Legacy Collection and WQ are on a sale regularly, but would be F2P for now and see if he likes it
