Been Farming Master Caiatl and noticed sometimes there's 2-3 Psions per corner during boss damage which absolutely wreck everyone, is there a way to avoid this?

Been Farming Master Caiatl and noticed sometimes there's 2-3 Psions per corner during boss damage which absolutely wreck everyone, is there a way to avoid this?
Do they stick around from the Symbols/Standards collecting phases so killing all 4 during this would avoid having 2-3 per corner during boss damage?
