havent played since year 1 of d2 and since lightfall is coming soon is it worth buying witch queen and if so should i buy any others? would love suggestions as im getting back into the game

Would check out the F2P version first and see if you still like it. Other than that WQ Deluxe should be on a discount currently. Seasonal stuff gets removed with Lightfall, but still worth it.
Especially if you like to run the new dungeons and also theres still some time left to get some of the best seasonal weapons.

You'll have access to the entire campaign but you'll soon lose access to its seasonal content

Forsaken is worth if you want some free exotics from the kiosk
Shadowkeep is mid, Stasis is gonna become a really good contender for GM champs if you play Warlock otherwise also a pass for BL
WQ has some nice stuff
I’m not sure if Bungus is gonna bump the gear boost in accordance to LF drop for people to fast track higher LL with legendary WQ

because i bought witch queen + deluxe on microsoft and it didnt transfer over beyond light dungeons for me

DLC unlocked content doesn’t transfer
But if you have Osteo and WQ on Steam but no WQ on other platforms, you can still use Osteo
You just can’t do Wellspring or all the WQ unlocked stuff
