Nightmare containment I probably the best way to get ascendant alloys, and you can level up weapons quickly as well

Master Wellsprings. It's very easy to get 1 per run and even sometimes 2 per run if you hit platinum by killing all champs. I went from 0 to 20 in just 2 days of farming.

You can do nightmare containments too as a solo strat. But it's a far lower drop rate and inefficient for time.

master ketchcrash is an option too, would do master wellspring though, takes like 7-10mins depending on your fireteam

Master Wellspring/Ketchcrash or Master Story Mission. Wellspring on defense days is prob best.

and if you want a casual approach do containment, as a bonus youll get opulent energy to get daily patterns from s17 if youre missing some
