I mean im running an arc infinite melee dodge, build with assasins cowl so I dont really see how wellspring wouldnt be good for my playstyle

Wellspring sucks as a perk, devoting time toward gunplay just to refund energy is pointless
The DSC guns also have that built into their origin trait, so Wellspring is doubly more useless
Run a Well build
I always run Bountiful Wells on a solar armour piece, then Elemental Ordnance or Melee Wellmaker to get up to 4 wells if need be
There’s also definitely mods that make Wells refund more ability energy + things like Utility Kickstart and Impact Induction-like mods that refund energy for using a specific ability
Pretty sure melee dodge + Hunter arc melee already has a very good ability gameplay loop already
