#legendary stats

Also should I aim to match subclass element with element on the armor? Or how does that work?
Legendary armor has only two things you need to keep track of, the stats and whether it’s artifice armor or not
Artifice armor is gotten from master dungeons and allows you to equip an extra seasonal mod but when light fall drops that extra mod slot becomes a +3 stat bump to a stat of your choice
As for element matching, same element armor tends to have some same element synergies with your subclass, but that doesn’t mean you need all of your armor to match your subclass
With light fall that’s going away though, armor and mods will no longer be tied to elements
But until then, 2 or 3 same element armor pieces is typically enough to get all the mod synergies you need for a build
Ah, okie, thank you!
Yeah I was a bit confused and just wanted confirmation before using golf balls on masterworking
Np! Btw once you’ve master worked an armor swapping the element becomes way cheaper
Oh, okie :o I thought it'd cost the same total # of mats like before masterworking it
I gotta work on getting my stat allocations first though
there's a ghost mod to help you narrow down the right stats
also the best place to get high stat gear rn is the seasonal armor focusing, of which risen gives the most stats on average
I'm not sure what that seasonal armor focusing thing is or what risen is
Every seasonal vendor has the option to focus high-stat armor pieces from Umbral Engrams if you've acquired the respective upgrade in that Vendors upgrade grid.
Risen means Season of the Risen, whose vendor is the War Table (straight ahead when loading into the HELM), and that one gives the best stats
In my experience it's mostly really just the Risen focusing thats good, the Crown of Sorrow and Star Chart (Season of Haunted and Plunder) are pretty bad, and I havent tried the Exo Frame
Ah, okie
