This is kinda 2 parter, what's the best way to get higher light level items? Just running nightfalls and stuff?
And second, what's a good way to get upgrade mats other than buying them at banshee?

depending on your current level you do what ever gives powerfuls/pinnacles to get higher level stuff.

banchee and ada the quickest but you can put yr mod on ghost and go farm strikes etc but not guar teed that will get one, just higher chance.

Theres Ghost mods that give Cores/Modules/Prisms in Crucible/Gambit/Strikes. Theyre not super useful I dont think, but if you really need some materials it guess it doesnt hurt to put on.

Other than that just do Nightfall and youll get all the materials you need, theyre kinda of like the main source, the higher the difficulty the better of course

I don't see any like that :o all I see is stuff making gear come with min 10 on a stat, or increased glimmer

Ah you have to masterwork the ghost to unlock it

Not entirely sure how to do that, just upgrade it to make or something?

Yeah upgrading to 10 energy is masterworking
