Destiny 2 opening in weird resolution, unable to access game settings

I tried deleting the cvars.xml file, i tried tweaking it, i verified game files and nothing is fixing this problem

the game is opening in a tiny tiny tiny window and i cannot do anything except press enter, as soon as i click on my mouse, the game gets out of focus

Try focusing the game (alt-tab or click on taskbar) and press Alt + Enter to fullscreen

nothing happens, its an extremely tiny box in the upper left corner

maybe try reinstalling card drivers see if it resets settings.

before that have you tried changing window mode in cvars? just try all of them 0 to 3. variable name is "window_mode"

whenever I try changing it, it automatically force changes it back to 0 whenever i start up the game

I tried launching it from geforce experience, it worked, as soon as i clicked on it, it went back to the tiny box

you could try making the file read only after changing it. But that might also stop any changes you make in-game after from saving

So, i rechanged game settings, and now we are back to square one after restarting the game

it keeps setting itself to fullscreen even when im not setting it as that

In case you havent fixed it - are the resolutions in your cvars good? so fullscreen_resolution_width/height and windowed_resolution_width/height should just be both 1920 and 1080 or whatever ur resolution is

Everytime I load up the game, even when changing the cvar, it reverts back to 8x36, very weird and annoying
