My friend is thinking of getting the wq seasonal dlcs before lightfall. how do table upgrades work after the season has ended?

All the relevant seasonal challenges for upgrading the vendors (those that give the currency) stay throughout the year in a separate tab in Challenges.
Keep in mind its a lot to do in a little over a month, but if he/she wants to grind no problem of course.

The grind will be too much, doing it rn. Weekly quotas don't help either, if they care about crafting for example

Thank you very much, i'll let them know. I was mainly hoping they could get the top tier weapons from the dlcs, but maybe it'd be better to wait until they're in a different loot pool

will the actual functions of the seasons disappear when lightfall drops? like if i got season of plunder would i not be able to continue building the fleet?

Yes the vendors and activities from all the seasons get removed

dang so it's probably best to just get witch queen standard and lightfall deluxe then

yes if you want to do ALL the content from the witch queen seasons, youll have to grind a ton if youre starting now. So unless you really want a specific weapon or play a seasons questline its not worth anymore

i do really love all the season of plunder stuff but I'm a casual player so it's not quite worth it :/ sad

Well it's still possible to grind a specific season, even alongside the current one, but you gotta start now
And play everyday and maybe focus on one character
But playing all 3 classes and 4 seasons at once is not advisable. Take it from me. And I started weeks and months ago, lol
(I've had all seasons since Summer but played unfocused and haphazardly until end of November.)
