Hi i'm new to this and i've read the faqs and registered but I still don't know how to join a match. When I try to press /join and username it doesn't do anything

/join is PC only, they will need to invite you or you invite them

If you wish to join a lfg you type in or copy n paste their join code eg:
/join#becky1234

Thanks but i'm on Xbox so looks like it won't work for me.

I’m Xbox, it works, you go into settings in game, social, turn on text chat and you can type it in. Or attach a keyboard if have one, but you can do it without. That’s how l do it.

Yes, we usually are a bit slower than the pc players so teams/groups get filled quick.

As they just copy paste, but if you have a keyboard attached can be quicker
