you need a second character but they dont need to have any progress

they dont need to fight anything, they just need to hold the checkpoint

if it’s for pit of heresy though, one you need by finishing shadowkeep campaign, do i need to finish it on my other character?

However, you could trade off the checkpoint to someone else who HAS completed the campaign on two characters
