Game Chat has never worked

I'm on PC, all settings look perfect. No VC is not switched to off

Any idea what would cause me to be unable to hear voices but people can hear me in the destiny vc

I have always had to resort to just using discord for vc

I've heard that having your main output on windows makes a difference if you can hear or not, since destiny takes from somewhere different? not sure about it tho

most people use discord for vc

game chat has incredibly bad quality compared to discord and you cant alter mic volume
