As someone who has tried both, it depends.
Calibans Hand is good for ad clear and healing with Well of Life. Ahamkara is good for like champ DPS if needed.
Personally I swap between the two but rn I'm having for fun with Caliban's Hand. 100 Res, 100 Discipline, Healing nade since Ada hasn't sold Well of Life. Does pretty well and is fun.
In reality you'd probably be better off with Void hunter and that one exotic that gives Volatile Rounds after coming out of invis or Omni, but Solar is pretty fun imo
