#Advice on armor stat allocation

It sort of depends
1, what class do you play
2, what exotics are you using
3, what content you’re doing
general directions, some niche exotics require custom stat splits but this works for 95% of pve
once the API is back up you can use https://d2armorpicker.com/#/ to find the best combination of armor you own to achieve the stat splits you desire
Why 30 intellect?
Never heard that before tbh
intellect has a big dropoff in effectiveness at 30
you can see the big bend at the tier 3 mark
but getting up to 30 is very valuable, you're cutting minutes off of the time with easy to get close-to-base stat points
IC, completely ignored int for mob, resil, and disc on my hunter, have to check if I even have 30 lmfao

Where do you get these graphs from, do you have a link to a bunch of this @open copper ?
some combination of google and the data compendium
Ah I appreciate the link, Ty
I did use this before and this works fine for armor you already have but I’m talking about if I wanna farm out a bunch of high stat armor all at once—
—then what stat split should I pursue? Because it’s possible to get all the stat in one for recovery, resil, mobil, and then the rest of the big chunk into one for disc, int, strength
if the question is what armor from your farm you should keep, its whatever leans into the stat splits you're going for
spiky resilience and discipline are always safe keeps
my power just went out so i can’t pull up the exact armor i’m talking about but when it comes back i’ll provide the exact example im talking about
this is possible yes, the total points of legendary armor is equally divided between the top pool (mob res rec) and the bottom pool (disc int str)
the most points you can get on a piece is 68 which would be 34 in each pool
the most you can get in a single stat is 30
so you can get armor that's as an example 2/30/2/30/2/2
its super unlikely to get that high of a total and that specific of a split though, most armor will look closer to something like this https://i.imgur.com/Ng1hj0Z.png
most armor worth keeping*
As long as all the stats are allocated to stats you want and its high overall its solid. How exactly theyre divided among Res, Disc etc. is not incredibly important
Cause youre gonna put mods on armor to finish off the tiers anyway. Only bad thing is like 110 base resil
Thats how i see it anyway
