if you do the new light quest, do you lose all your veteran dialogue? is that issue still a thing?

i know there was people saying it's happened to them before. i just wanna make sure before i start the quest and do it just for the cutscenes

I've done the new light quest and just recently ran the last mission of the witch queen campaign and still had my veteran dialogue, so anecdotally it is okay.
