I don´t have time to be in voice with you to explain, but the TLDR is this

Do powerfulls then pinnacles to raise your power level up. Don´t worry about infusing and keeping armor for now, unless you get something AMAZING (and exotics, hold onto those for now).

As of status, the only thing that matters a lot is resilience. The higher you can get, the better. You can use mods to increase it too, if you have them - they go on the first slot of each armor piece.

Try to get 100 resilience, it makes a lot of difference

As you play the game more, you will know what kind of "build" you want, if one with more discipline or intellect or whatever, but honestly - for the majority of the content, even raids and dungeons, it doesn´t matter. 100 resilience is the only one that will give you a significant buff for those activities

so, for now, I would just keep whatever you have that has more resilience if it´s the same power level, or just the one with the highest power until you reach at least gear that is 1580

for first time raid and dungeon, check #find-a-sherpa. You can do every raid in normal mode, and most dungeons too
