Currently stuck on akelous but am having a hard time staying alive as well as doing dps, running warlock at the moment but open to suggestions on other classes too! just really want to get this triumph.

If you are dying during dps switch to well

Void is nice for the debuff nade if you dont have weakened clear (or if you're not using a gl) and devour shenanigans
But if you're dying too much in situations where you cant reproc devour (aka during dps phases), you have two options
1: kill all of the adds before damage phase starts if that is what's killing you
2: swap to wellock with starfire (but play more cautiously in between damage phases)
When i tried it on warlock i had better success with wellock myself but honestly i personally just swapped to titan

also the main issue im having is that i cant reproc devour quickly after ive killed most squishy ads and only have the boss and minotaur only to be quickly melted down by both right before activating dps. im also not getting enough damage on dps to make it viable so i want to know what other people are using mainly because with the dmg im doing now it seems that im going to have to do like 12 phases
when it comes to dps i have no issue staying alive since im clearing ads very quickly with trinity

what setup did you use on void titan?
witherhoard + funnelweb + cataclysmic + hoil
for boss dps: pop bubble on the rod, and rally barricade infront of the bubble. shoot the eyes asap (the faster you shoot them the more time you have for damage), debuff nade him as he starts moving away
i managed to beat him in around 6-7 phases if i remember correctly
the boss is very tanky, they have like 6-7 million hp (for reference, most other dungeon bosses reach at most around 4.5 mill, including the final bosses)

pretty good, whenever i started to get low i would pop my rally barricade for a quick overshield, or if that was on cd i would through my melee at some goblins or harpies for health regen
and i could always panic bubble if neccessary

i dont really play hunter much, but gyrfalcon seems pretty busted now
also caliban's hand with explosive knife is pretty good (with the right build you can have high radiant and restoration uptime)

Try dawnbalde with the well of radiance with Karnstien Armlets. Take your time to clear the laser harpies. Use witherhoard with weaken clear and the solo operative seasonal artifact mods
You can complete the dungeon with most builds so it just takes practice. For a casual player you should be able to finish Akelous in 5 to 6 damage phases.

The easiest as far survivability for hunter would be gyrfalcons with witherhoard, unforgiven with repulsor brace, and a linear.

no, i didnt really see a reliable way to proc font heading into damage phase that didnt also get me killed half the time trying to proc it
meanwhile bait and switch is a flat 35% bump that doesnt require a specific subclass
the only ways i considered was reaping wellmaker or elemental ordnance
elemental ordnance wouldnt really work as i use my nade to debuff the boss
reaping wellmaker could definetely work but honestly by the time damage phase starts, unless youre using elemental time dilation and 3x font, youre not gonna have font of might by the time damage phase starts
the harpies are too far away for their wells to drop on the platform, and the goblins for the most part are at the bottom (and if theyre not they hinder dps)
you'd either have to drop down, kill the goblins, grab the font then shoot boss eyes, then shoot boss crit (which would mean font runs out before dps phase)
or shoot the eyes first, then kill goblin and grab font, then shoot boss crit (losing dps time and ending up doing roughly the same damage as without font and just shooting)
i still used font of might but that was mainly to buff my funnelweb to clear adds better
