#What to do before trying to raid.

As the title says I'm new to the game and I am currently light level 1576 and I was wondering what is recommended before trying out a raid.

the raid itself will tell u the recommended level

i wouldnt go from new to jumping into a raid until you get some decent armor, do some legendary lost sectors, have some exotics etc..

i mean "technically" you dont have to but you want to get used to the game b4 trying to get into a sherpa group otherwise you may be lost trying to figure out how to do things instead of just the mechanics

depends, what subclass do u want to play

each raid sort of has certain boss weapons that people recommend

good thing is if u r on a new character, every exitoc u get from a legendary lost sector will be one you dont yet have

taipan lfr4 + 10 resil + decent machine gun will set you up for most every raid encounter in this game

If you're doing vault of glass or deep stone crypt, you don't need any prep whatsoever as they're basically strikes

I would stay away from vow and kings fall because those require you to have some decent gear

#

Last wish has extremely easy enemies but you want a very high dps weapon to kill the final boss very easily

#

And one of the encounters in last wish (vault) is really annoying but luckily only 3 out of 6 people do stuff, rest just shoot

I recommend you just run bubble, tether or well of radiance as those are always very good supers
