Its always when I'm tabbed out, and there's no reason for me to believe its a hardware issue, cuz I play a lot of other games and they work just fine.

I've checked my ram and cpu, I have a new gpu and psu, and since they work fine for other games, I don't believe them to be the cause. Same goes for the motherboard. Is this an issue with the game, or is my pc broken?

try seeing if any of the files were corrupted

a few files might've gotten messed up with the big update but if its not that then I'm not sure. I know I've had that problem before but I've forgotten how I fixed it.
