What's a reliable way to test DPS?

i would recommend testing on a boss like Kalli in last wish, as it is easy to get to and large health pool

the only caveat to this is that kalli has a 2x crit multiplier so you will need to divide all critical damage by 2 in order to get the correct numbers

if you're looking for LFR alternatives(as spoken in this chat), the main ones are:
Double slug/ Izi Slug + Rocket w/ 1 gjally, Rocket + Hoil/Starfire, and on some bosses, lament while using the correct sword combo

don’t forget how easy it is for 90% of the playerbase to just slap on a taipan and have a decent dps weapon
it doesnt require any work and it’s easy to use, while it deals high dps = why we have a lfr meta

but generally tractor is a titan or warlock doing grenade damage, or they’re doing double slug/fusion damage

yeah lasting makes it pretty easy, without lasting you basically need a 90+ handling rocket
