Get coaching
Where would I get coaching?
I dunno
Find someone willing in #trials-iron-banner? Find online Destiny coaching or advice?
You could also just try and get free flawless carries from streamers or something
Watch pvp streamers on Twitch or Youtube, e.g. Wallah, Benny, True Vanguard, Coolguy, ZkMushroom, Gernaderjake, Frostbolt, list goes on
Game sense (knowing when to push and retreat), map knowledge, weapon choice etc.
Yes, watch Wallah be boring as hell for 10m each video
I’d argue CammyCakes is the best person to watch for pvp stuff
Very informative, shares builds and has guides on how to do better iirc
Guess I'll watch Cammy then
🤌🏿 🤌🏿 👍🏿
i would say do alot of private games, 1v1's, 2's etc... and if you get people that are better than you ask how they beat you as the games go along.
Easy pvp cycle for me is:
create a build, take it into control and see how it does. Does well? Keep working with it. Doesn't? Find something else.
Also start getting familiar with particular loadouts to build actual memory to them.
Consistently swapping between 20 different archetypes is much more detrimental than simply sticking to a name few that you already know how to use.
Aim as a concept is annoying and really only comes down to how good you can actively train it on a target.
Use meta if you want but don't expect an easy ride if you are playing anti-meta. Even good players can be bad with anti-meta loadouts.
Anti meta loadouts are just meta loadouts lol
And overall don't look at pvp as a "competitive experience". It's all fun and games, your kd doesn't matter.
How to counter the best: use the best
And the guy who ape-shottied you doesn't matter either.
However your trials kd does
eh, not even that.
0.2s can go flawless when carried.
and in a world of carries, trials itself is a pointless endeavor.
Honestly id skip control and go right into elims. Especially if you're looking at improving for the sake of trials, Elim plays much more similar while control is honestly a whole different game.
Ok, find a match in elim 💀
literally like the same 5 people play there, and 9/10 times they're bad and not an accurate skill example for trials.
??? Queues like 1-3 minutes anytime between 12-9 pst. Sure youll learn how to aim in control but the maps play completely differently in a 3v3 vs a 6v6 ABC point mode
Must be me then, never gotten a match fast at all.
and the times I did i steamrolled every single one.
It does after you get a carry
🤷
What
if they beg hard enough they can get another one.
and another one.
and another one.
If they *pay
well that too yeah
as I said, I don't see trials / flawless as a necessary goal to reach anymore, hence why I haven't played in 2 seasons.
What incentive do sherpas get to carry someone
and with the meta rn? Don't think I'll be touching it for a while
Reeds regret
adept version isn't necessary and once you earn it through trials eng you can just continually farm it till you get the one you want.
and? you really only need normal reeds lol
even than cataclysmic or taipan are better imo
(or stormchaser but yknow)
messenger is gone, shayuras (?) is gone
eye of sol is gone
that's your opinion
No
Yes
It literally is so easy to proc font of might
And it makes day 1s so easy
It's infinitely easier with reeds
🤷 cata was fine for that stuff.
35 vs 45
Cause fom runs out fast since there's no source to get it
bns
So firing line + fom = 45
