#What take so long to boot?

Just watched my GF go from press any button to play, to the character select menu in about 10-15 seconds on a ps5. I have a good computer but from Press Start to Play, to character select is well over a minute for me.

I suspect i have internet or NAT issues since we play in the same house same router, both on ethernet connection. What can i check to get to the bottom of this?

do you have an ssd?

me personally am running the game on an hdd and a ryzen 5 1500x cpu, takes me >1 minute for sure

having an SSD i expect would make my launch times many times faster
