Go and do the new Season of the haunted stuff now. Level up the venfor, then you'd be able to focus one red border a week. But first you'd have to get Calus from the opulant chets on the Leviathen.
You get opulent keys by doing the levi event garbo.
And from random chests on the levi.
So put chest finder mod on your ghost and start searching while doing the seasonal quest.

I've spent 5 total hours with no calus red borders. 
the rng from that is worse than winning a million dollar lottery.

For the red borders the chests you open with opulent keys would be the best bet. Otherwise level up the crown perks until you get the one red border a week perk and do it that way.
That's what I did as the rng of 1. getting a red border then 2. hoping its the one you want isn't great. Do one red border a week unless you want to pull your hair out at containment and farm keys.
