(While I’m gonna use this info to decide how I’m gonna budget out lightfall it should be the same principle)

#

If someone on steam buys regular witch queen for 40 dollars, does buying the deluxe edition still cost 80 dollars or is it 40 dollars cheaper since it’s a bundle where you have something in it already

#

That works for some stuff, but I’m wondering if it applies to destiny in particular

#

(As for how this is gonna apply to lightfall, I’m considering pre-ordering normal lightfall then buying the deluxe pass at a later date so I can still play the seasonal content and dungeons)

#

Much thanks in advance

#

witch queen base will give you just the expansion and the main content, if you buy that the deleuxe is still 80$,

#

however the extra content you would get from the deluxe is sold seperately, so i would buy deluxe if you plan using everything it comes with

#

for exmaple if you only wanted duality and the main content buy just the base exspansion and then the dungeon key after

Usually on steam, owning one or more items in a bundle reduces the price of said bundle by the cumulative price of the parts of it you own

#

And “witch queen deluxe” on steam is just considered a bundle including the annual pass, the dungeon key, and witch queen itself

#

I know stuff like the playstation store doesn’t do that, but I know firsthand that steam does that

#

(And by the way, I’m talking about Lightfall here I’m just using witch queen as a precedent for simplicities sake, which I already own wq deluxe)
