I feel as if the ult damage is sub par, the only thing going for it is the freeze which it doesn’t even look like you can freeze that often, since it’s only your grenade and melee (and ult ofc).

The way I play it is I use my super as a battery. I use Mask of Bakris to buff my weapon damage with arc weapons, a headstone/stasis kinetic an arc secondary and arc heavy.
Then I put on special finisher and use my super on that instead of ads because silence and squall is meh but generating special for your team is pog.
You can use Trinity ghoul, Thunder Lord, Storm chaser any arc weapons just get stronger. And stasis buffs damage output by roughly 10% because of the weapon damage increase-
You get when a target is frozen + shatter damage.
Sure it's only 10 seconds with mask of bakris so you could go full support and slap on Aeons too but mask of bakris is just fun.
In terms of mods it's really up to you, firepower or energy converter.

Hope they rework stasis next season, my main issue really are the ults and melees. Maybe add some exotics and id love to play more stasis.
Usually I just go with arc titan, void hunter or solar warlock, but stasis is really collecting dust

stasis hunter is a top tier option for dps with mask of bakris, elemental time dilation, 3x font of might and supreme wellmaker/4x font of might and someone else makes stasis wells
