When doing the stasis fragment quests, do you have to use stasis or whatever goes?

not necessary for some objects but most need stasis. correct me if im wrong

some likely get away with a stasis weapon if it has a perk that can trigger what quests wants

You can complete most objectives without using stasis, however there will be ones where it requires stasis melee kills, and we'll..... no way of changing that
