I try to shoot at it i used my abilities i melee it all says immune and the boss respawns how do i destroy it?

It was just an SS of the button in the control configuration just in case you weren't aware of the finisher.

The only other way would be to continuously kill it for 30 minutes and have it eventually despawn lol.

Possibly a glitched instance? That is the way to kill it and what do you mean your "solar" finisher?
