Battleeye says that it is not running if I startup D2 as admin so it doesn’t let me past the main screen, even though i was able to prior. I mainly do so as it causes the game to be much more stable.

On steam > Properties > Local files > Find the destiny.exe

My main suspicion is that the battleye might not be starting thus refusing to boot the game, is that a new occurence?

The game says that battleye isn’t running. Only when I run D2 as admin. I’ve tried setting battleye.exe launcher as admin on startup, but no dice

Ok that means, the service is not starting
On your keyboard, do the shortcut Windows symbol + R (+ not included) a small window will show up on the bottom elft
type in there services.msc
and press OK, a new window will popup with tons of name, locate the "Battleye service" and check its status
if it says disabled, right lcick on it, properties, change its state as automatic startup ; and also start it
After you've done that, try to boot the game

It was set to manual, even after changing it to auto it doesn’t allow me to pass through.
