you can get exotic weapons from xur for legendary shards friday-monday, and farm legend lost sectors for exotic armor

you aren't replaying here is what you need to know

weapons are 4 Categories

#

seasonal - these can be bought from the Kiosk in the tower
World drop- these can either drop for you randomly or be bought from Xur when he comes

#

**Quest Exotics **- these require a quest to get and usually are tied to an expansion - Xenphage/Gjallahorn for example
Raid Exotics - these are just RNG raid drops except for Divinity which is tied to a quest

#

Armors are divided into 2 categories

**New ** - these only drop from Legend/Master Lost sectors but after you get them once they move to the second category

#

Unlocked - these are a world drop same as weapons but can farmed by doing harder content

#

my recommendation for the 2nd category is to farm GMs/Master/Legend Nightfalls when it is double nightfall rewards you will get anywhere between 1~3 exotics a run and will help you unlock a lot

Been playing arc hunter but I want to start getting exotics for titans since they seem more useful for endgame content

for Hunter generally

Helmet - Celestial nighthawk, Graviation foreit, and Assassins Cowl
Guantlets - Shards of galanor, Liars Handshake, and Caliban's Hand

#

Chest - The Sixth Coyote, and Omnioculus
Legs - Lucky Pants, Orpheus Rig, St0mp-EE5, and Star Eater Scales

#

out of these only, Caliban's hand, Omnioculus, and Stareater scales are considered "new"

for titan

Helmet - Lorely's Splendor Helm
Gaunlets - Synthoceps < not a must

#

Chest - heart of inmost light, and Curiass of the falling star
Legs- Lion Rampant

heart of inmost light is sort of a must it makes a build on each subclass for titan and all of them are AMAZING

Master Nightfalls is the best way to get random exotic armor tbh, legend & master lost sectors is still only 20-25% drop rate
