you either get them from doing the legendary campaigns or by focusing them at rahool in his 2nd page, the one where stuff costs 1 engram and 1 cypher

exotics that have come out in edge of fate require doing the legend campaign (at least once, after that doing Sieve will always drop 1 piece of the armor, regardless of what character did it)

the ones from renegades you either get via legendary campaign or by buying them in the cantina on weekends (right next to aunor)

Acrius / Wolfsbane for short DPS phases in melee range

Parasite for short DPS phases from some range or you just need an instant burst

if you're good at hot-swapping, Parasite's just good in general

cuz you'll fire off an x20 stack then hotswap to another build for sustained DPS

Last time I saw velocity baton being used let alone meta was before EoF dropped. It’s a useless special that fills no purpose in the current sandbox of the game except some niche cases
