Getting kills with ignition is tricky. The target you want to ignite generally should be a major or even an ultra (boss), because rank & file combatants don't have the HP required to accrue enough scorch to ignite.

As I said, it's tricky. You want the scorch to accrue to ignition, and the subsequent ignition needs to kill your intended target, along with nearby rank & file combatants.
