Well my main reason for asking was I just installed my 3080, and while my processor is still the same, there is... Little to no FPS gains. Which means I was either cpu bottlenecked this whole time (7700K) or something is up

I have read that if I have a laptop ram stick that is rated for 2133 and if get a stick that is listed as compatible on Lenovo’s site and rated for 2400 or 2666, it will just downgrade the speed to match the other ram stick which is at 2133. Is this true or no? Also would you recommend I just take the 2133 out and replace it? If so would it be better if I install a 2x8gb kit or 16gb stick?
