and it was great, people not affiliated with our high school would come to see
every class would have a theme and we were free to create anything within that theme
we´d find dances related to it and learn them to do presentations, learn how to play some music from the area or era, do live statue, whatever we could
then she retired, and we got someone that was extremely jealous of previous teacher... she wanted the whole class to do one thing using one technique for the art fair
there was so many arguments to the point that she said if we didn´t like it we could talk to the principal... the whole 40 students got up and went to the principal

That sounds a bit like the experience we had with our french teacher
She was sick all the time and super weird (we all were pretty sure she had all the screws loose), eventually we got a replacement teacher were we all did much better. I actually wrote straight A's on her exams, while I'm the only one who got C's on the old ones.
At some point we got the old one again and everyone started getting bad grades again which made everyone suspicious, then both french teachers took us one by one into a room and tested us, naturally we couldn't live up to her expectations and it was super weird. She'd just sit there smiling at us and speaking french while we didn't understand a word.
After we were done, our grades were deemed invalid and not included in our A-Level

I also think the reason I hated sports so much was that here in Deutschland, it's 95% playing soccer and that's a sport I really hated. Badminton is fine, I enjoy that actually but I just hate soccer. Especially when played with strapping young lads who just hit puberty.

PvE focus is rare and few between. WoW is pretty good if you have that investment.
Warframe is definitely the same carrot-on-a-stick routine they've had for years, and I'm heavily biased against Warframe myself.
ESO and FFXIV are probably the best alternatives to WoW for PvE content, and all three have end game PvP options.

I've dropped about $200 on Star Citizen. Actually kind of enjoyable right now with some friends. And they are getting close to having no more wipes on currency, so you can actually "progress" til "launch"
Not saying it's perfect by any measure of the word, but it's definitely playable for a couple hundred hours of fun with some friends.
