freesync works on amd and nvidia, gsync is nvidia only and costs more
so basically freesync is better but it doesn't matter much if you have an nvidia card

i notice drops to like, 70/80, but they're not juddery or janky, it's just like, slightly less smooth for obvious reasons
on a normal vsync monitor if it drops below 144 it cuts it in half immediately, so the sudden change will be real obvious
or if vsync is off you'll get screen tearing, which i absolutely cannot stand
but with freesync it just drops to like, 118 or something and there's still no tearing and you basically can't tell unless you're some kind of mutant

it is just that i dont like using 144hz when frame rate isn't stable
because it really hurts my eyes

but 144hz 144 fps is really good

also battletags are case sensitive so pay attention to capitalization
