the trick to the lava castle is to take out all your batteries in your cyclops and go in with your prawn suit and when you come back to quickly bail out the prawn suit, go back into the cyclops and put the batteries back in before dashing back to the prawn suit while the leviathan hopefully hasn't noticed you

Having barely played Hollow Knight I can't really give a good comparison. The art style is very similar so if you like HKs look, you'll like Ori.
