I work in a military mess hall. We feed 500-1000 recruits per service (breakfast, lunch, dinner) so much food is thrown out instead of being given to say idk homeless veterans or any of the sort.
If you’re caught eating food even if it’s food that’s gonna be thrown away you can be fired.
