For higher end gaming, when you've got a beast cpu and beast gpu, a DDR3 16gb vs a DDR4 16gb is pretty noticeable speed difference, you will see it in the frames of the games you play, usually 10-15 fps more

But mid tier/low tier i dont think you'll see even 1-2 frames
