#7a bootloop after factory reset
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
did you have oem unlocking enabled when u tried to adb sideload
as u need an unlocked bootloader
to flash an os
inside of android
so i doubt you have had it enabled
and you will not be able to adb sideload your os because of said reason
as u would need an unlocked bootloader
you can try the android flash tool google provides for pixel phones
but dont know if ur going to get any farther
yeah as i said it would need oem unlocking enabled in android dev settings before hand
which you cannot enable if ur locked out of ur os
pretty much
as tools to recover phones are not public due to safety reasons
probably just a corrupt os or partition thats needed to boot the os
likely hood of losing all ur data on said phone is like 90% though
when it gets fixed
but ig thats better then not having a phone at all
fair
you have tried flashing the ota zip in recovery through apply update with adb right?
might be the only option you have for a fix
except for direct help from google or repair center that has the tools to bypass flash restrictions
uh the fastboot screen ur on when u cant boot into the phone right?
with bootloader unlocked information and stuff
press the volume up or down until it says reboot to recovery
then press the power button
after that you will have a menu with alot of options like apply update through adb
and in there u should be able to adb sideload the full ota image of a newer or same version of the os ur currently on
then i really have no idea how to help
as it should fix in most cases
hopefully whatever repair store u go to doesnt just scam u by putting a new motherboard in
and tbh this is just why i have oem unlocking enabled now for if i ever get stuck in a bootloop
