#Video playback breaks on Chrome and Firefox randomly

Video playback in browsers randomly stops working. Sound plays normally but when I play or skip through a video it only renders a couple of frames before stopping. This issue has only started after I updated my phone.

Before you say anything yes I have cleared the app cache, installed updates and reinstalled the browser

The only temporary fix I've found is to restart my phone
