Ok, I propose when stationary turrets are introduced, one class of them starts with overwatch on on turn 1, and ends every single turn with overwatch (with one attack at least for free). Even if no players are in range, these turrets will OW in hallway directions (map specific) that the AI last reported mercs were. At start of map, hallway chosen is pre-determined to just be one of the hallways arbitrarily.

as they rotate, they OW as the last thing they do would function beautifuly as both hazard and Enemy
Sounds fun. If it will be rotating, we don't want it's firing arc to be too wide so that you can time and hit it when its looking away. Probably need to think about how talents would interact with it - would cancel overwatch work? What about smoke/vision range reduction/dazzlers?
the turrets' overwatch will function similar to other OW cones in regards to sight requirements
one of the things that will be more clear as we get farther into drone land is that things like Dazzlers may need to be marked as "human only". not all debuffs will work on drones
