How it works:

  • Make one or more skins that fit the theme we provide
  • You can choose any species you want
  • Post the character incl. the character string in here, 1 post per character!
  • The skin has to be new as in it hasn't been posted in the skin library before
  • If you like a skin someone has made, react to it with dracFire

The 3 most popular skins (We will choose 1 skin per participant) will be featured in the original post and potentially in a video on the Draconia channel, if our time allows us to. If we can't make a video for any reason they will at least be featured in a social media post!

Have fun creating!

P.S. Please try to keep the chatting about the challenges in #draconia otherwise we will have a lot more to scroll through when we look for the most voted skins!

"Why does that name haunt me? It's the only thing I can remember. Who am I? And why can't I remember anything?"
Got some photography of actual shadow casting too, from the sun to the lightning. dracMlem

Mottled forest shadow snake! Inspired by these spots of sunlight on the forest ground when it filters through the canopy. Watch out, as this hunter uses it to camouflage itself under the trees when the sun is at its highest, in bright daylight, when you feel the safest...

https://justpaste.it/eioon I felt pretty uninspired for an actual shadow dragon, however I kinda loved the idea of making a dragon that was adapted to living in the shadows of the great forest trees. The warring need to blend in and stand out that a lot of tropical birds face. I felt using the underside of the wings, even if I have made a butterfly dragon with almost the same concept, would help it stalk in the shadows until it was too late and provide the flash needed to impress the others of its kind.
