I'd say start with usb. Xlr can be a big investment especially if you're only just starting out and dunno if its something you wanna stick with

If you're starting with usb
Condenser: razer seiren mini, or blue yeti. Just make sure to treat your space acoustically since Condenser's are very sensitive.
For dynamic samson q2u i think is a usb dynamic that gets recommended a lot.

If you want to do anything voice acting related you'll wanna go with condenser since they do pick up more detail. If you're just sticking to music, podcasts, and streaming then a dynamic is really all you'll need

I got Samson Q2U and I really like it for speaking and for general use. I use with Rode PSA1+ desk holder. This is my best USB mic ever.
