#A way to assign a specific task to a specific follower at all times

Followers tasked in this way prioritize the chosen task above all other jobs. If their task is occupied by a different follower, the other follower will stop to do something else.

This is what I was hoping the Work Tent did, and while it's still useful, I hope my suggestion is considered to be implemented in some way. It doesn't even need to be done via a new structure, but perhaps in two ways:

  • Commanding a follower to do a certain task, even if none are currently available, assigns them to prioritize it the most.
  • A new interaction with applicable structures, allowing you to assign a follower (perhaps even multiple) to do tasks related to it.

However it'd be implemented, it would allow you to utilize follower traits and necklaces even more.

This. I wanna be able to go full Palworld on task organization. "This guy does this task and nothing else." "That guy does anything but this." "The other guy over there does whichever of these specific tasks is available."

Im into that idea just assing a follower direct by the building and when the job is avable he/she/them do it

I'm going to list potential possibilities that could occur if this suggestion was implemented. Some examples I have in mind now are:

  • You could assign a follower with the Animal Lover and Guard trait to ranching without worrying about them deviating.
  • You could assign a follower wearing a nature necklace to farming, to help better utilize the necklace.
  • You could have an actual reason to give followers job-related outfits, (like bartender) other than them looking good, by properly assigning them to said job.

  • You could assign a follower wearing a feather necklace to janitor/work tent duties, to ensure they get to their destinations sooner.
