Bug Description:
The save file on the title screen preview appears as normal, but has somehow been overwritten by a Fresh save state.
The game prompts the level of difficulty selections after loading, and places you in a completely baring cult, with no followers or buildings.
Interestingly enough there are no quests or tutorials, despite when exiting the cult grounds it triggers the cutscenes for Darkwoods door opening.
I don't know how relevant or helpful this is but: the previous run, on the save file, there was a buggy golden egg i encountered, after using the mating tent.
I was unable to interact with the egg, whatsoever.
The egg never rot, dispute an ingame week, and a couple days have passed.
Tho it never caused any other issues in the game otherwise, I opened and closed the game and the above problem happened.
It was still a strange bug i never encountered before so it's worth a mention.
i don't know if there is any possibility of this save file being able to be recovered in some way - i doubt it.
