there could be a trait that lets a follower to handle more sin. like they can handle 5 sin before getting dammed and once you damn them it resets but you can only do it 3 times before they get damned and thats the limit now. so that way you could have a sinful follower who you can keep sinning 3 times before they get damned.
another trait could be the opposite where a follower can only be sinned 1 time and thats it
the trait names could be called, "sinful soul" and "holy soul" or somethin idk i aint the best with names
