Food Disappearing (Egg meal)

I don't know if it happens with other food items, but specifically the egg meal just vanishes for some reason when I cook it sometimes.

Yes, the same thing happens to me, I think it's because I haven't defeated the final boss yet, because in my save, which is more advanced, the egg meal works as it should.
