Either using missionary or a new building to plant grass or just planting it in farm plots. One of the most basic resources in the game being locked to crusades is really frustrating. I understand the fear of grass eater abuse but in late game food should really be an easy resource being able to grow crops, catch or purchase fish, and the variety of easy ways to get meat grassy gruel is really not that big a deal.

There's an entire construction project dedicated to turning grass into poop, but I never use that since there are many ways to naturally get poop compared to grass which can only be manually earned in crusades with lots of manual cuts as far as I can tell
