As a long time fan of cult of the lamb I would love to expand the scope and reach of this game, and the following are some ideas which I think might be interesting (which I may have mentioned before):

Allowing one to enter the world of the gods or the world of the demons. I feel like this could add new mechanics, such as: when a follower is ascended they become part of your pantheon (and bless the base), when sacrificed them they become a devil, allowing them to help fight your enemies via curses and plagues (players can be given the option to choose between the divine or demonic realm for their pantheon, and may include their own storylines)

Fight the fox. The lamb could maybe go on a journey to attack the fox and save ratau from his clutches

Plumbing. It may not seem interesting, but imagine if one didn’t have to walk around going to the outhouses to individually take out the feces, instead it can all be centralized into a main sewage system or something along those lines

Clean followers. After a long hard day of tending to the crops, cleaning up feces/vomit, the followers can start to stink a bit, so an addition to the cleanliness of the cult maybe there could be a bath house

Randomly generated islands. How about players go on seafaring excursions to find new islands, with randomly generated islands that allow for the increase harvesting of resources

And of course… BRING BACK SOZO VIA SACRIFICE!!!!
Final note: be as flexible as you wish with these ideas if you ever decide to implement them
