Game version 1.2.0. Was trying to send two followers out on missionaries, game froze completely. On reload, entire cult was erased (skipped tutorial), kept prompting me to pick a difficulty, unable to proceed due to no followers. I started over. Now I am unable to get past the first room of the tutorial without the game crashing.

Also, did not even get to post game content. I only beat Leshy and Hecket, 1/4 of Silk Cradle and 1/2 Anchordeep.

This has happened to me too. On 1.2.0 playing post game the game froze and I got a crash message. I try loading up my save which says day 155, 25 followers, 32 beds etc and when I load into my cult with my name it asks me the difficulty and says day 1. I have spent over 30 hours on this save and am pretty sure it hasn't been deleted from my switch, just that there is some kind of pathing bug that isn't displaying all my cult changes etc. and thinks I'm starting a new save file with the same cult name

i updated to 1.2.1 and am still getting the same issue

Game didn't crash but I have the same issue on 1.2.1
However game was acting weird beforehand, was freezing when I tried to open followers thoughts until I spammed B and other weird lag issues
Makes me not wanna play cuz I don't want all my hours being virtually deleted again, hope this is fixed soon : (
