Honestly I believe traits should be shown in all windows where you have an option to choose a follower.

A Follower can have up to five Traits now (spawn with four + Immortality from Golden Skull Necklace), so I don't think the abbreviated pic version would work – but since people also want to be able to see which demon a Follower turns into on selection screens like this, having all that data on the side is probably the best option, anyway.

That is just an example, they could expand the window itself. As for Immortality, it could be moved to Age section.
